In April 1945 the 146th celebrated its 2nd Birthday. On that day in 1943 the then 146th Regiment was turned into two Battalions. Since then only one member of the 146th Battalion Staff performed the same duties continuously. He is Capt. Steven Pipka, Bn S-2. (excerpt from the Dozer Blade)
