Head count attendance were some 20 odd members, family and friends.
A small gathering of dye-hards who made the reunion a complete success, with two occurences of great joy: The attendance of Bernard (Gene) Meier and Lamar Keith. It was Gene's first reunion after 62 years of having lost track of all membes of our Battalion until recently this year, when he found our Website. This was a great occasion for those there that knew him as Platoon leader of the 2nd Platoon, Co. "C". Lamar sprung a surprise by presenting Glyn with an engagement ring! Congratulations to both!!
Unfortunately, Bill and Mittie Byrne were not able to attend due to the demise of Bill's brother. Our heart felt sympathy and prayers to him and his family.

At the request of Ms. Kelley Vick, MiddleTennessee Christian School' 5th Grade Teacher, Gene presented copies of this picture at the Reunion Dinner Saturday night.
It is a photo of the 5th grade boys' Boot Camp held last March
as a Salute to Veterans of WW II, and specially to the 146th ECB.
Gene's Grandson, Quentin, is the 3rd from the right.
