A friend of the 146th ECB sent these photos shown below of the Cemetery and Memorial in Normandy, France. He visited the place last year and took these pictures. The dog tag belonged to Sgt Joseph Murphy, a member of 3rd platoon, Company B of the 146th ECB, under the command of Lt Wesley Ross. Killed in the fall of 1944 while arming an anti-personnel mine which exploded in his face. (Pictures, info and photos furnished by Wesley Ross.)
